Presently, under 6 faculties in the institute, postgraduate classes are being conducted in two subjects and undergraduate in 17 subjects. Shri Dronacharya Post Graduate College, Dankaur, Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh and approved by National Council for Teacher Education, Jaipur (NCTE) in which National Assessment and Accreditation Council for Education Faculty (B.Ed.) 'B' grade has been obtained by NAAC.

Arts Department

Post-Graduate Level:- Teaching facilities are available in Hindi and English subjects under two-year semester course since year 2003 at post-graduate level.

Graduation Level :- The Faculty of Arts was started in college in July 1997. Permanent affiliation was obtained in English, Hindi, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Home Science, Arts and Psychology at graduation level.

For admission in B.A., students have to choose any three subjects from the following subjects.

(1) English (2) Hindi (3) Sociology (4) Political Science (5) Economics (6) Home Science (7) Painting

Commerce Faculties:-Faculty of Commerce is established in the year 1998. Result is extremely well in past years.

Faculty of Science:-Education at the B.Sc level is available since year 2000. It is a three-year courses in the following three subjects - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology. Note - For B A / B Com / BSc students -

It is mandatory for first year students to take Foundation Course (Indian Culture and National Pride) and qualifycourse of Environmental Studies and Sports and Physical Education.

It is mandatory for second year students to take foundation course (language and writing ability) and sports and physical education as well.

It is mandatory for third year students to qualify courses in sports and physical education.

Management & Computer Faculty

The BCA and BBA professional courses were started in the college at the graduation level in the Faculty of Computers in 2008.

It is mandatory for the first year students of BBA / BCA to qualify the course of Environmental Studies.

NAAC, ‘B’ Grade Obtained –

Under the teaching training program atShriDronacharya Post Graduate Degree College, Gautam Buddha Nagar, B.Edtraining program is going on duly since the year 2005 - 2006.Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut has given affiliation to Shri Dronacharya Post Graduate Degree College, Dankaur GautamBudh Nagar. Self-financed scheme with admission capacity of 100 seats in B.Ed course under the Faculty of Education started at the Graduation level.Participation in cultural programs invarious activities under the guidance of qualified teachers of the Faculty of Education is duly conducted by the students since session 2005- 2006 till date. Studying and marking psychological tests, conducting audio-visual materials Scouting and Guiding along with sports and physical education along with various awareness programs are conducted.Time to time, workshops, seminars, blood donation camps and health check-up camps etc. are being organized by the Faculty of Education inShriDronacharya Postgraduate College, Dankaur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.This faculty of the college has proved its authenticity by getting B grade after evaluating its quality after inspection by NAAC Every year a five-day scout guide camp is organised by qualified instructors of the country instills a sense of interest among the students.

Faculties Available in College

(1) Teaching Room -Teaching Room is equipped with modern facilities, modern educational technical facilities like OHP, Allied Projector etc. are installed in the teaching room.

(2) Resource Center Laboratory -There is a resource center and laboratory with the necessary materials for various courses of the college, which are used by the students according to the time table.

(3) Computer Center or ICT Center - The college has a proper ICT center equipped with modern facilities for the use of the students. Internet facility is used by the facilities for language laboratory.

(4) Student Welfare Council -

Career Counselling Cell- Under the aegis of the College's Career Corner, there is a proper arrangement to provide information about the officers of higher education, research work, vocational supplementary courses, promotions and the information received from the university, state and central government and other sources related to the students. So students take advantage of this.

Fee concession - For the purpose of providing financial assistance to the deserving students of weaker sections, the facility of full or partial fee waiver is given. On the basis of which it is necessary to haverequied educational qualification, the marks of the previous class and the income of the guardian are kept in view.

Scholarships - Scholarships are provided by the Ministry of Education and Social Welfare, State and Central Government and from various other sources for all the qualified students and students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Tribes and other Backward Classes.

(5) College magazine- To encourage the creative writing talent of the students, the college publishes a magazine called ‘EklavyaVaani’ in which articles are published on various subjects by the students, teachers and staff.

(6) National service Scheme- A unit of graduate level volunteer servicemen is functional in the college since session 1998. A daily as well as seven-days special camp is organized under the protection and guidance of the trainers. The facility of Rovers and Rangers Scout Guide is available in the college.

(7) National Seminar and Workshop- Seminars and workshops are organized on the basis of various courses and subjects of the college, in which academicians, politicians and experts in administrative and business fields’ act as guides of the students. Organizing curriculum subject based seminars and workshops every year by the college energize the students.

(8) Sports - In limited resources and private wide sports, the sports in-charge of the college tries to provide proper arrangements for almost all the games and activities. Sports competitions are also organized between various activities.Participants of state and national level competitions get preference for entry into higher education.

(9) Canteen - A normal level modern canteen facility is available in the college in which refreshment and food facility is available to the teachers and students.

It is a matter of immense pride and pleasure to be the principal of Shri Dronacharya P.G. College, Dankaur. The college is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with Grade 'B' CGPA 3.39. This college was established in 1997 by Shri Drona Gaushala Samiti (Reg.), Dankaur flourished to the post graduate level in 2003, affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. Our college aims to convey an inclusive education. We as a team at Shri Dronacharya P.G. College, Dankaur are committed to impart overall education to our students comprised of theoretical knowledge as well supported with practical workouts, along with imparting moral values. The college puts its high premium on overall development of the students and sculpting them into a morally upright, socially & politically aware and a responsible citizen to serve the nation. It is indeed one of the challenging concerns of the society and thereby of the college to keep the young generation rooted in Indian values, tradition and culture while at the same time, make them oriented towards the latest information and technology. Consequently, the college respects its tradition but simultaneously emphasizes on technology, development and innovation. Thus, throughout its glorious history, Shri Dronacharya P.G. College, Dankaur has always played a vital role in the field of UG-PG education in all the streams. We aim to provide tech-based inclusive higher education in an orderly, vibrant and hygienic environment.
